Starting off 2012!

GlobeMed has started this year off with a bang! We started our individual giving campaign and Razoo page just before the holidays at the end of last year. For our first individual giving campaign, we were quite successful and raised a total of five hundred dollars. Furthermore, this term we have added twenty-two new people to our staff. We are very excited to have them join GlobeMed! For this term, we are planning on hosting a benefit dinner in February. We came up with a catchy title for it: “Benefit in Burma: How conflict and health intersect”. We are also going to hold a raffle at the benefit dinner and have a professor and a healthcare professional from Dartmouth speak at the event. For entertainment, a Dartmouth acappella group, the Brovertones, will be performing. We look forward to planning this event and hope it will be a success!
